Romanian-Hungarian Talks at Defence Ministry HQ

Giving up conscription, the ways of attracting young people to the military career and the transparency of the leadership were some of the main topics approached during the talks between the State Secretary for Administrative Matters from the Hungarian Ministry of Defence, Dr. Laszlo Fapal, and the Romanian State Secretaries Marius Balu and Ion Mircea Plangu.

Other topics approached during the talks were media relations, the evolution of the military career and houses for the personnel in the armed forces of the two countries.

Dr. Fapal visits Romania upon the invitation of State Secretary Marius Balu, chief of the Department for the Relation with the Parliament, Legal Correlation and Public Relations in the Romanian Ministry of National Defence.

The program of the visit of the Hungarian guest also included meetings with Mihai Stanisoara, Member of the Chamber of Deputies and chief of the Committee for Defence, Public Order and National Security.
