During September 21-23, the chief of the Navy Staff, Rear Admiral Dr. Gheorghe Marin, will participate in the International Symposium SEAPOWER 2005, that will take place at the War College of the Navy Forces in Newport the U.S.A.

The Romanian official will present the stage of the reform in the Navy Forces and the preparation of the frigate King Ferdinand for its first participation in NATO Mission Active Endeavour.
