A team of six soldiers from the Diving Center of the Navy Staff, intervened this morning at Tuzla, Constanta County, to help evacuate the possessions of a citizen whose home was flooded by the last two days' rain. NCOs from a unit in Mangalia came with two trucks to the rescue of the population in the same town.
Thursday afternoon, the same team, together with 18 divers equipped with pneumatic boats, a helicopter and military vehicles, came to the rescue of children in a kindergarten and evacuated citizens, possessions and animals in Schitu and Tuzla, Constanta County. The diver teams were led by WOs Dediulescu Liviu, Moise Ionel and Arfire Marian.
The interventions took place following the request of local authorities of Constanta County.
