On September 29, 2005, the Department for Armaments in the Ministry of National Defence together with the Defence Production Directorate in the Ministry of Economy and Commerce and the NATO Division within the Foreign Affairs Ministry organized the Day of Romania at NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA) in Luxembourg

The event was intended to promote Romanian companies involved in defence industry and was, at the same time, an opportunity to understand the structure, organization, responsibilities and acquisition procedures of the Agency.

This was also an opportunity to make known the Romanian companies with their production and services capacities and an analysis was made of the bilateral cooperation opportunities.

At the end of the event, the deputy chief of the Department for Armaments, Air Force General Dr. Eng. Ion Eftimie Sandu, invited those present to visit the Military Equipment and Technology Exhibition EXPOMIL/ICOMIL 2005, that will take place from October 20 to 23 octombrie 2005, in Bucharest.
