On Wednesday, October 12, at 11 o'clock, a ceremony will take place at the Military Observatory in Bucharest, to mark the 110th anniversary of existence. The event will include a presentation of the observatory activity and visiting a collection of old maps.

October 12 1895 represents the day the institution of inaugurated by King Carol I. At present, the institution is part of the Military Topography Directorate .
