Chief of Romanian Army Staff, Lieutenant General Dr. Ioan Sorin participate between October 19 and 21 in the 12th Annual Conference of Armies from Europe, organized in Heidelberg, Germany. The conference with participants from 37 states, NATO partners and members, is on the Role of the Army in Fighting Against Terrorism.

The success of the Romanian soldiers within the international coalition in fighting against terrorism is the argument for our engagement in promoting and defending the democratic values and supporting the processes of post conflict stabilization stated Lieutenant General Ioan Sorin lecturing during the Conference.

Chief of Romanian Army Staff will have a bilateral meeting with his US counterpart, General Peter Schoomaker.
