Lieutenant General Ljubisa Jokic, chief of Serbia and Montenegro General Staff met today at MoND HQ General Dr. Eugen Badalan, chief of Romanian General Staff and Ion Mircea Plangu, State Secretary and chief of Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defence Policy.

The talks aimed the process of reform, re-structure and transformation the two Armed Forces are running and the stage and perspective of the military bilateral cooperation.

The Romanian part presented to the Serbia and Montenegro delegation the aspects on Romanian participation in international peace support operations.

General Jokic stated the fact that he is pleased about cooperation between the two armed forces and expressed the hope for them to be continued on the same coordinates.

The Serbia-Montenegro delegation in visit in Romania between November 8 and 9 will visit military education institutions and military units in Bucharest.
