Four officers from the 151st Infantry Battalion Black Wolfs received the US Army Medal of Merit for special merits in fulfilling the Task Force GUN DEVIL support missions. The medals were conferred within the ceremony occurred in the camp near Kandahar international airport by Lieutenant Colonel Bertrand Ges, commander of Force to Lieutenant Colonel Vasile Roman, commander of Black Wolfs, Major Lucian Catalin Calfa Rascanu, Captain Sergiu Suhan and Lieutenant Cristian Ivanescu.

Lieutenant Colonel Ges handed to all the Romanian Battalion soldiers the Certificate of Appreciation for Special Merits and thanked them for the effort and professionalism proved during their six months mission within the Enduring Freedom VI operation. Your contribution helped us in fulfilling our mission and the Afghani population in re-establishing peace in this country" TF GUN DEVIL commander stated.
