The Military Police Company IRAK VI leaving in mission ceremony will occur Wednesday, January 11, at 11.00 hours at the 285th Military Police Battalion, Bucharest (Sos. Antiaeriana, nr. 6-8).

The military policemen had a rich experience gained in the international missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Since July 2003 they are participating in missions of stabilization and reconstruction of Iraq under the operational control of the MSU Italian Regiment. They are fulfilling missions of reconnaissance on different routes, escort of convoys, escort and protection of civil and military personalities, control and monitoring of traffic and training of the new Iraqi police.
