An US delegation headed by commander Robert A. Lally, commander of USNAVEUR Maritime Patrol Aviation pays an official visit in Romania between January 25 and 28, 2006 invited by Rear-Admiral Dr. Gheorghe Marin, chief of Navy Staff.

They will have meetings and working visits at the Navy Staff, the Navy Operational HQ and Mircea cel Batran Navy Academy.

During their meetings they will focus the process of reform of the Romanian Navy, their contribution in NATO activities and regional initiatives and their role within the process of cooperation, trust and stability in the Black Sea region.
