International Conference of Security in the Black Sea Region

The Institute for Political Studies of Defence and Military History in cooperation with the Institute for National Strategical Studies of the National University of Defence, Washington D.C. , George C. Marshall European Center of Security Studies and Manfred Worner Euro-Atlantic Association organize the international conference on Strengthening of Security by Cooperation in the Black Sea Region.

The reunion will be held between January 30 and February 1 at the National Military Cercle in Bucharest.

Diplomats, military and civil experts from Armenia, Austria, Azerbaidjan, Bulgaria, Georgia, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Moldavia, Russian Federation, the United States of America, Turkey and Ukraine will participate in this reunion. Prestigious institutions of education and research , international and regional organizations, NATO HQ, NATO College of Defence, US Department of Defence, USEUCOM, PfP Consortium of Academies of Defence and Institutes of Studies of Security, Harvard University, RAND Corporation, DCAF, OCEMN, BLACKSEAFOR, SEEBRIG, Center of Information and Coordination at the Black Sea from Burgas are represented in this conference. Representatives of different Governmental and Non Governmental Organizations from Romania will also participate in.

This occasion, the PfP Consortium of Academies of Defence and Institutes of Studies of Security will launch a new initiative The Working Group for the Enlarged Black Sea Region, gathering the experts on security from this region.
