Minister of National Defence, Teodor Atanasiu will participate in the 42nd Annual Conference for Policy of Security occurring in Munich between February 3 and 5, 2006. The main issue of the Conference will be Europe and the United States of America reestablishment of the Trans-Atlantic Partnership.

The Conference gathers high representatives of the international community ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence, political and military personalities, businessmen and journalists.

Other issues of debate will be Global Challenges towards the German Foreign Affairs Policy and Security, Role of NATO in Future International Peacekeeping Missions, Fight against International Terrorism and Global Interests of Security and External Policy in Asia.
