Minister of National Defense, Teodor Atanasiu and Chief of Romanian General Staff, General Dr. Eugen Badalan will participate Tuesday, February 14 at 12.00 hours in the ceremony occurred by the return of the 20th Infantry Battalion from Iraq.

Representatives of the Army Staff, soldiers from the 2nd Light Infantry Brigade Rovine, local officials and the Black Scorpions relatives will participate in this festivity.

The infantry personnel commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Nicolae Ioan acted between August 2005 and January 2006 in South of Iraq in Antica Babilonia operation. Black Scorpions under the Italian Brigades Folgore and Ariete fulfilled about 1,500 missions in order to maintain a safety and stable environment in the region.
