State Secretary and chief of Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defense Policy, Mr. Ion Mircea Plangu participated between February 16 and 19 in the Forum for Security of Georgia occurred in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The Forum approached the Foreign and Defense policy of Georgia , its way to come closer to NATO and contribution in maintaining the security in the region.

This occasion there was a reunion at Defense deputy ministers level with the representatives of the host country, the Baltic Countries, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and the United States. They discussed the perspectives of the future cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Georgia.

During the Forum, the State Secretary Plangu had a short bilateral meeting with Mrs. Sonya Atanassova Yankulova, State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense of Bulgaria.
