Awards of the Review Gandirea militara romaneasca

Minister of National Defense, Teodor Atanasiu, congratulated the prize-winning authors and the nominalized ones for their contribution in the military theory development, today, in the ceremony occurred for the prize awards of the Review Gandirea militara romaneasca .

Chief of General Staff, General Dr. Eugen Badalan, handled the five prizes, thus:
- Winner of the prize Brigade General Constantin Hirjeu was Dr. Luiza Kraft, for Strategies of diagnose, optimization and maintenance of communication within the military organization
- Winner of the prize Lieutenant Colonel Mircea Tomescu was Anatol Lescu for Romanians in Imperial Russian Army
- Winner of the prize Maresal Alexandru Averescu was a staff coordinated by Rear Admiral Dr. Gheorghe Marin for Black Sea Area of confluence of geo-strategic interests
- Winner of the prize Division General Stefan Falcoiu was Brigade General Dr. MD Ioan Sirbu for Medical-military performance in oral implantology
- Winner of the prize Army Corps General Ioan Sichitiu was Major General Dr. Cristea Dumitru for C4I Systems.


Minister Atanasiu offered the Diploma of excellence to General (ret) Ion Tutuveanu for exceptional merits in promoting the interests and values of the military institutions.

The first number of the Review Gandirea militara romanesca issued in February 15, 1864 under the name Romania militara. In January 1, 1898 the publication became by Royal High Decree the official review of the Romanian General Staff. Along the time the Review hosted theoretical papers of the Romanian Armed Forces leaders , thus becoming the most important theoretical tool for the national military institution development. Nowadays, the Review is engaged in the process of transformation of the Romanian military body hosting theses, ideas and concepts giving sense and substance to the new national military institution.
The national prizes are annual granted to the most valuable conceptual works in military theory and science.
