The 280th Infantry Battalion soldiers had yesterday in the camp near the camp of deployment, Camp Mittica, the firing sessions with personal armaments and the training of the first Battalion from the 3rd Iraqi Brigade.

According to Captain Dan Huduma, coordinator of the Romanian trainers, the Iraqi soldiers had the firing sessions with the personnel possible to become trainers, at their turn.

The personal armament of the Iraqi soldiers is similar to the Romanian armament and our soldiers participate in training of the Iraqi units, from more then a year.

The activity is part of a program of restructure of the Iraqi system of security, thus creating at the end, the Iraqi armed forces able to fulfill their missions.
