State Secretary and chief of Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defense Policy, Ion Mircea Plangu in visit in the United States of America participated Monday, March 6, in a round table developed at the National University of Defense in Washington DC. The debates were focused on the security in the Black Sea enlarged region.

Among the US personalities participating in this activity were Dr. Stephen J. Flanagan, director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies and Dr. Jeffrey Simon, senior researcher.

This occasion, the Romanian dignitary met the president of the National University of Defense, Lieutenant General Michael M. Dunn.
