The fifth session of the Romanian-Italian Technique Committee on armament occurred March 8 and 9 at the headquarter of the Department of Armaments.

The Romanian delegation was headed by the State Secretary and chief of Department for Armaments, Eng. Ioan Ion and the Italian delegation was headed by Lieutenant General Carmine Pollice, deputy National Director for Armaments from the Ministry of Defense of Italy.

During the session they will analyze the evolution of Romanian-Italian cooperation on 2005 and will establish the optimum possibilities in planning the activities on this year. They will also sign the Plan of cooperation on research and development of the industry of defense between the two Ministries of Defense on 2006.
