Minister of National Defense, Teodor Atanasiu and his Israeli counterpart Shaul Mofaz, in visit in Bucharest, will sign Thursday, March 9, the Agreement between the Ministry of National Defense of Romania and the Ministry of Defense of the Israeli State on military cooperation.

The two officials will have talks on security in the Middle East, the process of reform of the armed forces in the two countries, the participation in peace support operations and fight against terrorism and the bilateral military cooperation. They will also talk on the Mediterranean Dialogue and the Istanbul Initiative of Cooperation.
