The works of the Romania USA Bilateral Working Group on defense occurred between March 7 and 8 in Washington DC.

The delegations headed by Ion Mircea Plangu, State Secretary and chief of Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defense Policy and Danial Fata, deputy assistant of the US Defense Secretary for Europe and NATO.

The reunion agenda comprised the issues on the global war against terrorism, security in the Black Sea enlarged region, defense transformation in NATO and Romania.
At the Agency of cooperation in security of defense they had talks on the Program of the US assistance for Romania.
