NATO Courses at Carol I National University of Defense

A delegation of the National University of Defense Carol I paid a visit between March 6 and 7 at NATO College of Defense in Rome, invited by its commander Lieutenant General Marc Vankeirsbilck.

This occasion, they signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two institutions in common management of education issues far distance digital courses; Carol I National University of Defense becomes the first military education institution from the South East of Europe developing didactical activities with NATO evaluation and certification, in common with educational institutions from the North Atlantic Alliance.

Department for far distance education, the functional unit of the National University of Defense Carol I received the right to administrate the courses Introduction to NATO and ESOP European Security Defense Policy. These forms of education, mainly for officers, are equally for the personnel with attributions in defense and national security from NATO members.

Interested persons can access http://adl.unap.ro for on line courses issued by the Consortium Partnership for Peace of the Military Academies and starting April 15, the course Introduction to NATO and the graduates will have the documents recognized by all NATO member states.
