The Minister of National Defence, Mr.Gabriel Oprea, is on an official visit in the People's Republic of China from November 10 to 15, at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Mr. Liang Guanglie.
During his visit to the People's Republic of China, defence minister Gabriel Oprea had a meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Mr. Liang Guanglie, on Thursday, November 11. The two ministers had talks on military bilateral cooperation, on the ways to strengthen military cooperation in common training of troops and political and military related issues, on the developments of the international security environment.
Defence minister's official visit to the People's Republic of China continued through November 12 and 13, when the officials participated in the activities conducted at the training center in Kunming, Yunnan Province, where the Romania-Chinese training exercise "Friendship Action 2010" took place.
