The Dutch and the Romanian Defense Ministers transmitted their condolences to the families of the militaries that were killed in action in Afghanistan

Participating in the Day of Distinguished Visitors of "Cooperative Lion 09", the Minister of National Defense, Mihai Stanisoara and the Dutch Minister of Defense, Eimert van Middlekoop, transmitted their condolences to the families of the Romanian and Dutch militaries who were killed in action in the last two days in Afghanistan.

The Minister of National Defense appointed in rank the officer who was killed in action in Afghanistan

The Minister of National Defense, at the suggestion made by the chief of General Staff, signed the order of appointment in rank of Major (post mortem) of Captain Unguras Iuliu Vasile.

Military ceremony at Cluj Napoca

Major (post mortem) Iuliu Vasile Unguras killed in action in Afghanistan will be repatriated today, April 9, by a military airplane of the Romanian Air Force, at 6 p.m. on Cluj Napoca airport.
