The pyrotechnics team of the Romanian Intelligence Service operating on Sunday, April 26th, in the area of the towns of Luncavița and Văcăreni, Tulcea County, where the drone debris were reported, confirmed the existence of an explosive charge.

MoND specialists have arrived on site and are assessing the risks.

The controlled detonation will take place on site, in a specially designated area, at the orders of the prosecutor in charge with the case.

Tulcea Inspectorate for Emergency Situations will issue a RO ALERT message to avoid any risk to the residents in the area.

Citizens are requested to respect the recommendations of the authorities and keep abreast of the official information transmitted through institutional channels.
