Attacks near the border
On Wednesday, September 23, the Minister of National Defence, Radu Miruță, had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Romania, H.E. Seung-chul Hur, on the occasion of the South Korean diplomat’s appointment.
Further to the information previously released regarding the incident on the morning of September 24, we specify that the aerial target moved within the national airspace for approximately four minutes, after which it crashed near the locality of Solca, Suceava County, without causing casualties or material damage.
On Thursday morning, September 24, the radar surveillance system of the Ministry of National Defence detected an aerial target moving within the Ukrainian territory, near the border with Romania, in the north of Botoșani County.
