The Ministry of National Defence participated, between May 5 and 9, 2025, in Locked Shields 2025, the most complex NATO-led cyber security and defence exercise. The event took place in Romania, for the first time, at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, and involved military and civilian specialists acting in the fields of cyber security and defence.
On May 8th, the Ministry of National Defence, through the Department for the Liaison with the Parliament and Personnel Welfare, organized the Anniversary Conference "Women, Peace and Security", at the Palace of Parliament.
On Wednesday, May 7, Minister of National Defence, Angel Tîlvăr, had an official meeting, at the 86th Air Base "Lieutenant Aviator Gheorghe Mociorniță" in Fetești, with the Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Ruben Brekelmans, who was visiting Romania.
