As to the implementation of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP), Minister Duša talked of Romania’s support in organizing a joint NATO-Georgia exercise with the participation of other partners, in the framework of SNGP.
"We consider that including Georgia in this platform signifies the recognition of its valued contribution to the security and stability of the Euro Atlantic space, as well as an opportunity to make the most of the operational experience of the Georgian military forces, gained during their participation in allied missions and operations", the Romanian defence minister said.

In talking about the cooperation between Georgia and the EU, Mircea Duša pointed out the need to develop the security and defence dimension of the eastern Partnership.
