Deputy NATO Secretary General’s visit to Târgu Mureș

Deputy NATO Secretary General, Mircea Geoanã, will make an information visit to the 51st Special Operations Battalion Headquarters “Vulturii” from Târgu Mureș on Wednesday, 27 July.

The official will meet with the representatives of the Special Operations Forces Command leadership and the operators of the 51st Special Operations Battalion Headquarters “Vulturii” and will talk about the Special Operations Forces’ capabilities. Also, the official will visit armaments and military equipment stands and will attend a short tactical exercise performed by the Special Operations Forces.

At the end of his visit, Deputy NATO Secretary General will make press statements.

Journalists interested in attending the activity are requested to send the necessary details for accreditation (name and surname, the media organization they represent, series and number of the identity document and the vehicle registration number, including the type of photo-video equipment used), on email address aivanof@mapn.ro, until Tuesday, 26 July, 16.00.

The accredited mass-media representative will be expected on Wednesday, 27 July, between 10.30 and 11.00, at the 51st Special Operations Forces Battalion “Vulturii” (23 Nicolae Bãlcescu Street), with their identity document and press badge.
