Movements of military convoys within DACIAN SPRING 2025 Exercise
Equipment and troop movements will take place on Romanian territory, between May 5 and 23, as part of Multinational Exercise DACIAN SPRING 2025 (DASP 25).
Movements of units activating within the Forward Battle Group deployed at Cincu towards Smârdan and movements of several Spanish allied structures located at Frecăței towards Smârdan and Cincu are scheduled to take place on May 16–17. These operational activities are carried out within the exercise scenario and contribute to increasing the cohesion and mobility of the participating forces.
Most displacements will take place at night in order to limit the impact on local communities and road traffic.
Multinational Exercises such as DASP 25 and its components, including SCORPIONS LEGACY 2025 (SCLE 25), are defensive, transparent and conducted in full compliance with the international commitments undertaken by Romania.
The Ministry of National Defence thanks all citizens for their understanding and support in carrying out these essential activities to strengthen national and collective security.
