Memorandum of Understanding in the field of defence between Romania and The Republic of Korea

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of National Defence of Romania and the Ministry of National Defence of Korea on mutual government quality assurance services took place on Thursday, May 14^th, in the context of Black Sea Defence and Aerospace (BSDA) 2026.

 

The memorandum was signed by Major General Ph.D. Eng. Ion-Cornel Pleșa, Head of the MoND General Directorate for Armaments, and Shin Sang Bum, President of the Defence Agency for Technology and Quality (DTaQ), within the Defence Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), subordinated to the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Korea.

 

The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding regulates the provision of mutual government quality assurance services between DTaQ of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Korea and the Ministry of Defence of Romania, as support for the acquisition of defence products and services.
