On the night of 13th to 14th June, the Russian Federation conducted a new series of drone attacks on the civilian and infrastructure targets in Ukraine, in the vicinity of the river border with Romania, in Tulcea County.

Two Eurofighter Typhoon fighter aircraft of the Italian Air Force, conducting Air Policing Service, scrambled at 00.10 from the 57th Air Base in Mihail Kogălniceanu, to monitor the air situation on the border with Ukraine, as a group of aerial targets was detected flying 12 km east of Vâlcove.

The National Military Command Center (core) notified the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations regarding the establishment of measures to alert the population in Northern Tulcea County, and a RO-Alert message was sent at 00.02.

The air alert ceased at 01.11.

No unauthorized intrusions or ground impacts of any aerial vehicle have been reported.

The Ministry of National Defence informs the Allied structures in real time about the situations generated by these attacks and maintains permanent contact with them.
