The radar surveillance system of the Ministry of National Defence detected aerial targets on Saturday, July 11, at 4:39, in the vicinity of the towns of Chilia and Izmail, Ukraine.
Air defence systems were placed on alert and a IAR 330 Puma SOCAT helicopter was ready to scramble.
The National Military Command Center (core) notified the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations with regard to the establishment of public alert measures for the population in the northern part of Tulcea County and a RO-Alert message was issued at 4.41.
No unauthorized incursions into the national airspace or instances of aerial vehicles impacting the ground have been reported. 
The air alert ceased at 5.07.
The Ministry of National Defence informs the Allied structures about such events in real time and maintains permanent contact with them.
