Regarding the explosion that occurred on the territory of Bulgaria on August 8, at around 08:20 AM, near the border with Romania, the Ministry of National Defense states that the radar surveillance systems of the Romanian MoD did not detect any aerial vehicle crossing Romania's airspace into Bulgaria.

Furthermore, during the time frame prior to the explosion, no movements of aerial targets were recorded that would indicate a possible trajectory through national airspace toward Bulgarian territory.

The Ministry of National Defense continuously monitors the situation near Romania's borders and will communicate additional details as relevant information becomes available.
