Minister of National Defence, Angel Tîlvăr, ordered, at the end of February, verifications at the level of the entire Romanian Armed Force’s force structure, regarding the possibility that the Ministry of National Defence (MoND) active-duty personnel who were temporarily suspended from their service, may have conducted activities within Romanian private security companies, which recently operated in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The verifications covered all forms of leave and free periods the MoND personnel are entitled to.
On Wednesday, April 2, Minister of National Defence, Angel Tîlvăr, participated in the High-Level Conference organized by the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in Warsaw. The event was dedicated to analyzing the main strategic guidelines and recommendations included in the White Paper for European Defence - Readiness 2030, a programmatic document recently adopted by the European Commission and intended to substantiate future efforts in this area at EU level.
Minister of National Defence, Angel Tîlvăr, is participating, over 2-3 April, in the Informal Meeting of EU Defence Ministers, which takes place in Warsaw, Poland.
