The end of the mission ceremony of the Spanish Air and Space Force Detachment will take place on Tuesday, March 25, at 11:00 a.m., at the 57th "Căpitan Aviator Constantin Cantacuzino" Air Base in Mihail Kogălniceanu.
On Thursday, March 13, Minister of National Defence, Angel Tîlvăr, had a meeting, at the MoND headquarters, with the Head of the European Commission Representation in Romania, Ramona Chiriac.
The first contingent of Romanian soldiers from the Intermediate Reserve Force arrived at Sarajevo Airport on Wednesday, March 12, as part of the mission to reinforce EUFOR ALTHEA presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The activation of the Intermediate Reserve Force took place at the request of the Commander of EUFOR ALTHEA Operation, with additional forces from the Czech Republic and Italy being sent alongside the contingent provided by the Romanian Armed Forces.
