Condolences message

The Minister of National Defence, Mircea Duºa, sent a condolences message on Thursday, March 7, to the families of the deceased militaries in the plane crash occurred in Bacãu County.

"I am deeply mournful with the tragic loss suffered by the Romanian Air Force`s personnel in the event where Warrant Officer III-rd class Laurenþiu Chiru and Sergeant 1st Class Vasile Manolache lost their lives.

I express my compassion and deepest sympathy to the grieved families that are mourning the loss of our valuable comrades.

I ordered all the military units throughout the country and those located in the theaters of operations to hold commemoration ceremonies on Friday, March 8, in respect for the sacrifice of the two militaries."
