The Romanian Armed Force participates in the military parade organized to celebrate France’s National Day

A detachment of honour of the 30th Guard Brigade, made up of 12 soldiers, is participating over 7-14 July in the training sessions and the military parade organized in Paris to celebrate France’s National Day.

Four soldiers wearing their combat uniform will be part of the joint parade detachment, made up of soldiers belonging to all the states that had been invited, while other seven soldiers (and a reserve one) will make up the guard holding the Romanian National Flag and will wear the protocol military uniform.

Military personnel from Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia have been invited to participate beside the Romanian detachment.

The most recent participation of the soldiers of the 30th Guard Brigade “Mihai Viteazul” in the military parade organized in Paris, on the occasion of France’s National Day, took place in 2014.
