Exercise F.A. PATRIOT SPARK 24.11

A PATRIOT Surface-to-Air Missile Battery of the 74th Regiment performed a training sequence, over December 2nd-12th, as part of the Live Fire Tactical Exercise F.A. PATRIOT SPARK 24.11, conducted in Capu Midia Surface-to-Air Firing Range.

 

The goal of the exercise was to check the operational status of the system and validate it through live firings, as well as to increase its readiness level. Thus, the PATRIOT system that entered the service of the 74th Regiment has been certified and will perform combat service alongside the rest of the Air Force capabilities.

The 74th PATRIOT Regiment is equipped with three PATRIOT high-range surface-to-air missile systems, and the personnel who participated in this exercise attended the TAFT Technical Assistance Field joint training program.
