Media Day of DACIAN SPRING 2025 Multinational Exercise

 

On Thursday, May 22, a training exercise will take place at Smârdan Secondary Combat Training Center, Galați County, as part of DACIAN SPRING 2025 Multinational Exercise, in which press representatives are invited to participate. 

Journalists interested in attending the activity are requested to send their identification data (surname, first name, series and number of the identity card, telephone number and media institution) to.contact@mndse.nato.int. email address by Wednesday, May 21, at 1:00 p.m. 

Media representatives will be expected on Thursday, May 22, between 09:00 and 09:30, at the entrance to Smârdan Secondary Combat Training Center. Their access will take place based on the identity card and press badge. 

Journalists are requested to use portable equipment for live broadcasts, as access of DSNG vehicles is not allowed.

DACIAN SPRING 2025 Exercise, which takes place over May 5 - 23 in Smârdan, Cincu, Bogata, Capu Midia and Frecăței Training Areas, is planned and led by NATO's Headquarters Multinational Division South-East (HQ MND-SE), Bucharest.

The main objectives are rehearsing a collective defence operation and strengthening the integration of forces into the headquarters’ command and control architecture.

Approximately 4,000 soldiers from ten allied states -Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain - are participating in the exercise.
