On Tuesday morning, April 14, the Russian forces resumed their drone attacks on civilian and infrastructure targets in Ukraine, in the vicinity of the river border with Romania, in Tulcea County.

 

Following the detection of a group of drones flying near the Romanian airspace (north of Vâlcove), the National Military Command Center (core) notified the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations regarding the establishment of measures to alert the population in northern Tulcea County, and a RO-Alert message was sent at 03:48.

 

Two Romanian Air Force F-16 aircraft conducting Air Policing Service scrambled from the 86th Air Base in Fetești, and the air defence systems were placed into firing positions.

 

No intrusions into the national airspace were detected. The air alert ceased at 4:45 AM.

 

The Ministry of National Defence has informed and is informing the allied structures in real time about the situations generated by the attacks, maintaining permanent contact with them.
