On Saturday morning, May 2nd, the Russian Federation resumed its attacks on the civilian and infrastructure targets in Ukraine, in the vicinity of the river border with Romania.

A group of twenty Russian Federation aerial drones were detected by MonD radars, moving towards the area of the town of Ismail (Ukraine).

Two F-16 aircraft conducting Air Policing Service scrambled, around 02:00, from the 86th Air Base in Fetești.

The National Military Command Center (core) notified the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations regarding the establishment of alert measures for the population in the north of Tulcea County, and a RO-Alert message was sent at 02:03.

Ground- based radars detected a drone briefly entering national airspace in the Chilia area, continuing its flight towards Ismail.

Numerous explosions were reported on the Ukrainian bank of the Danube.

The air alert ceased at 02:50.

The Ministry of National Defence informs allied structures in real time about the situations generated by the attacks, and keeps constant contact with them.
