On Tuesday morning, May 19th, the Russian forces conducted a new series of drone attacks on the civilian and infrastructure targets in Ukraine, near the river border with Romania, in Tulcea County.

Two F-16 aircraft conducting Air Police Service scrambled at around 01:45 from the 86th Air Base in Fetești.

The National Military Command Center (core) notified the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations regarding the establishment of alert measures for the population in Northern Tulcea County and sent a RO-Alert message at 02.05.

Ground-based radars tracked a group of drones that struck the port of Ismail, Ukraine. No radar signals were detected in the national airspace. The air alert ceased at 02.57.

The Ministry of National Defence informs allied structures in real time about the situations generated by the attacks, and remains in permanent contact with them.
