DVDay of EAGLE SPEARHEAD Exercise

On Tuesday, August 18, starting 10:45 AM, NATO Battle Group Romania is hosting the Distinguished Visitors Day for the EAGLE SPEARHEAD exercise at the "Getica" National Joint Training Center in Cincu, Brașov County.

The exercise, conducted with France as framework nation, brings together approximately 1,000 troops from seven allied nations: Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, and Romania.

EAGLE SPEARHEAD involves complex training activities -such as trench warfare and combat engineering operations - and integrates a wide range of capabilities, including French Leclerc tanks and CAESAR artillery systems, Italian Ariete tanks, as well as surveillance drones and FPV (First Person View) drones.

    
The exercise aims to consolidate joint training, evaluate the readiness level of the participating forces, and verify their ability to operate effectively in a multinational environment.

A static display will also be organized as part of the Distinguished Visitors' Day.
