On Sunday, August 30, at 10:36, the MonD's radar surveillance system detected an aerial target 20 km east of Vylkove, Ukraine, near the Romanian border.

Two F-16 aircraft from the Borcea 86th Air Base have been monitoring the situation starting 10:36.

Following the notification from the National Military Command Center, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations issued a RO-Alert message for the northeastern part of Tulcea County at 10:50.

The air alert ceased at 11:18.

No incursions into the national airspace were reported.
