Media Day at WIND SPRING 24 Exercise

On Wednesday, May 23rd, the 81st “General Grigore Bãlan” Mechanized Brigade is presenting a demonstrative training session for the media representatives, as part of WIND SPRING 24 Exercise, which is conducted at the “Getica” Joint National Training Center from Cincu, Brașov County.

Journalists interested in attending the activity are requested to send their identification data (name, surname, series and number of the identity card, the media institution they represent and their phone number) by Wednesday, May 22nd, 12.00, to email address relatii.publice01331@forter.ro.

Mass-media representatives will be expected on Thursday, May 23rd, between 09.00 and 09.20, at the Joint National Training Center Headquarters, where they will be transported to the exercise area of operations. The access to the exercise will be made based on their identity card and press badge. Media representatives are requested to use portable devices for live broadcasts, the access with DSNG not being possible.

Approximately 1,500 soldiers of the 81st “General Grigore Bãlan” Mechanized Brigade will participate with more than 360 means of equipment in WIND SPRING 24 Multinational Exercise, conducted at the “Getica” Joint National Training Center from Cincu, Brașov County and in Bogata Firing Range, Turda, Cluj County, over May 6th-24th. Allied French and Belgian soldiers deployed to the NATO Battle Group Romania, as well as partners from the National Armed Force of the Republic of Moldova participate in the exercise alongside the Romanian soldiers.

WIND SPRING 24 aims to develop operational skills of the forces in a scenario simulating a modern battlefield, as well as to increase trust, understanding, transparency and interoperability level between allied and partner structures.
