Defence Minister’s meeting with the Ambassador of Israel to Bucharest

On Thursday, June 27th, Minister of National Defence, Angel Tîlvãr, received the visit of the Ambassador of the State of Israel to Bucharest, Reuven Azar, at the MoND Headquarters.

The meeting agenda included topics related to the current status and the prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation –within international organizations- as well as ways of countering security threats at international level.

The two officials emphasized the importance of enhancing the relations in the field of security and defence, as a main line of effort within the partnership between Romania and the State of Israel. The joint collaboration projects in the technical-military and defence industry fields as well as the prospects for their development, with benefits for both parties, were also approached during the meeting.
