“Mircea” Training Ship returns home after six weeks

Training Ship "Mircea" returns on Thursday, August 8th, at 10:00 a.m., to the Military Port of Constanța, after having performed a six-week international training march in the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. 86 students of "Mircea cel Bătrân " Naval Academy, as well as eight foreign students of partner naval academies from Bulgaria, Latvia, Poland, Spain and Turkey are on board the sailing ship.

Training Ship "Mircea" left the Military Port of Constanța on June 26th, and during the march it made representative stops in the Ports of Piraeus (Greece), Livorno (Italy), Toulon (France), Palermo (Italy) and Bodrum (Turkey), during which she travelled more than 3,400 nautical miles.

Accredited journalists, interested in attending the ship's arrival ceremony, are requested to send their identification data (identity card series and number, vehicle registration number) by Wednesday, August 7th, 12:00, to e-mail address contact@anmb.ro. The access to Constanța Military Port will take place on Thursday, August 8th, between 09:20 and 09:40.
