Distinguished Visitors Day at “EASTERN PHOENIX 2026“, Capu Midia Firing Range
The Distinguished Visitors Day of the Eastern Phoenix 2026 (EAPH26) exercise will take place on Friday, April 24, starting at 10:00, at the Capu Midia Firing Range in Constanța County.
Demonstration sequences illustrating real-time detection, tracking, and engagement processes will be presented during the event, as well as direct observation of integrated sensor networks and precision operations (“clean kinetic”), with an emphasis on minimizing collateral damage and adhering to the rules of engagement. Additionally, after the demonstration sequences conclude, attendees will have the opportunity to visit some of the equipment operation setups used during the exercise.
Depending on the weather conditions, the event schedule may be subject to changes and some of the activities will take place indoors.

Accredited media representatives are expected on Friday, April 24, between 08:30 and 09:00, at the Control Point of the “General de brigadă Ion Bungescu” Air Defense Artillery School in Capu Midia. The Ministry of National Defence and NATO’s Allied Command Transformation (ACT), together with economic operators from the defense industry in Romania and abroad, are organizing Exercise Eastern Phoenix 2026 (EAPH 26) at Capu Midia Shooting Range between April 14–24. The activity is dedicated to innovation and experimentation of capabilities to counter threats posed by unmanned aerial systems (UAS/C-UAS).
Planned, organized, and conducted by NATO’s Allied Command Transformation (ACT) and the Ministry of National Defence, EAPH 26 demonstrates a continued commitment to identifying optimal solutions for countering drone threats by leveraging innovation and operational experimentation.
