Meeting between Minister of National Defence and his Czech counterpart at the Ankara NATO Summit

As part of the NATO Summit in Ankara, Minister of National Defence Radu Miruță had a meeting with the Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic, Jaromír Zůna. 

The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the defence industry, with emphasis on identifying opportunities for industrial collaboration and technology transfer. 

The two ministers also discussed joint procurement possibilities through dedicated European instruments—including the SAFE mechanism - and agreed to continue technical dialogue to identify next steps and establish a timeline for potential joint projects. 

Furthermore, they addressed prospects for enhancing cooperation between the defence industries of Romania and the Czech Republic, aiming to capitalize on opportunities for collaboration in armaments production and capability development.
