The air alert issued today, July 27, following the intrusion of a drone into the national airspace, ceased at 10:09.

The target was detected by the MoND radar surveillance system approximately 36 kilometers east of Sulina, and two F-16 aircraft from the 86th Fetești Air Base scrambled at 08:53 to monitor the situation.

The National Military Command Center notified the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations regarding the establishment of measures to alert the population in Tulcea County, and a RO-Alert message was issued at 08:47.

The target briefly entered the national airspace, after which it crossed the river border towards Ukraine. Explosions were subsequently reported on Ukrainian territory.

The MoND permanently monitors the air situation and informs Allied structures in real time about such events.
