On the night of October 1st to 2nd, the radar surveillance system of the Ministry of National Defence detected new drone attacks targeting civilian objectives and infrastructure in Ukraine, near the river border with Romania, in the northern area of Tulcea County.

Around 5:00 AM, the fall of an object, possibly an aerial drone, was reported in the area of Plauru, Tulcea County, followed by a fire, without causing any casualties or material damage.

A General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations fire engine and Ministry of National Defence (MoND) teams were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the fire. The area has been secured, and specialized MoND teams will conduct on-site investigations.

We specify that the radar systems of the Ministry of National Defence did not report any unauthorized incursion into the national airspace the previous night.
